Progress + Kassa Review for “Catalyst”

February 23, 2011

Saundra and I completed the first-draft manuscript for Other Side of Night: Bastian & Riley last night! It ended up being just under 50,000 words, which was a bit longer than we’d intended, but I think the story is enjoyable and will appeal to a broader audience who enjoys contemporary paranormal romance (M/M, of course). We’re looking for a beta reader or two to look the manuscript over before we send it to our proofreader and editor, so if anyone is interested, please contact either me or my co-author, S.L. Armstrong. Thanks!

In other news, Kassa reviewed Catalyst today! She gave it 4 stars out of 5 and made some really excellent comments. The thing Saundra and I love about Kassa is that her reviews are always fair. Even when she dislikes a book, she reviews it fairly and tells other readers what worked and didn’t work for her. You always walk away from her reviews with plenty to think about regarding any given book, so it’s always a thrill when she reviews us. We’re so glad that she enjoyed Catalyst! To read her full review, please visit her blog HERE.

Next on our writing list are our two short stories for the Storm Moon Press anthologies to be released this summer. The M/M anthology story will feature feral-Maith (anthropomorphic-like characters) from our fantasy world, Egaea. The other anthology is F/F, and we have a F/F/F triad piece in mind for it. Once those two short stories are complete, we’ll start on our Polyfidelity novel, which is M/M/M/F. I’m really excited about all these projects. It’s really going to be a great year for our writing. ^_^
