Hurricane Sandy Relief – Short Story Auctions!

November 2, 2012

I know I haven’t posted in a while, since October was crazy-insane with three weekends devoted to conventions. I haven’t really managed to settle back down again, so I promise there will be more content once I do. In the meantime, I’d love to spread the word about a project that a bunch of us GLBT fiction authors are banding together for.

Due to the destruction of Hurricane Sandy to the Northeastern coast of the United States, some of Storm Moon Press’ authors have joined forces with others in the GLBT Romance and Erotic Romance genre to auction off stories to the highest bidder. The stories are being auctioned in exchange for donations to assist with the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. I’d like to encourage everyone to contribute to the cause. You can look through the auction rules at THIS POST HERE. Bidding ends 7PM CST on Friday, November 9th, so you have plenty of time to participate.

Here are the links to Storm Moon Press’ authors’ auctions. Go and donate with your bids! Part of the fun is that you get to heavily influence the short stories we’ll all be writing. ^_-

Zach Sweets — BID HERE

Thank you to the wonderful MJ O’Shae and Piper Vaughn for hosting this great auction and getting the ball rolling. To see all the authors they’ve managed to gather, take a look at their Blog Archive, where each of the auction posts is listed on the left margin of their blog. I hope everyone will check out the host of authors who are willing to trade their stories for your donation bids! This is an opportunity to give and to also get the story you always wanted out of us authors. ;D
